Internet Protocol (IP), the packet technology used on the Internet, has proven its ability to efficiently integrate voice traffic into the flow of data on IP networks, enabling voice and data services to be delivered to users from a single multi service network. Voice over IP supports two-way transmission of voice traffic over a packet-switched IP (Internet protocol) network. This network could be a public carrier network, the Internet, or a private enterprise intranet. VoIP can include IP Call Servers, VoIP telephone sets, and IP software phones, or “soft phones”.

Unified Communications (UC)

(From Wiki) Unified communications (UC) is the integration of real-time communication services such as instant messaging (chat), presence information, telephony (including IP telephony),video conferencing, data sharing (including web connected electronic whiteboards aka IWB’s or Interactive White Boards), call control and speech recognition with non-real-time communication services such as unified messaging (integrated voicemaile-mailSMS and fax).

UC as it relates to business-grade PBX systems now also include “virtual extensions” such as cell phone, smart phone applications, and home/”landline” telephone numbers as an alternate office extension.

IP Surveillance Cameras

IP surveillance cameras have overtaken traditional analog “CCTV-DVR” setups due in large part to the virtually limitless increase in resolution and image quality.  NVR, or Network Video Recorder servers, can be designed with redundant, properly sized hard drives (based on storage “loop” needs), dual NIC cards (to keep video IP traffic on its own separate physical network), dual processors, etc.

Door Access Control/Card Reader systems

Card Reader systems have been the focus of our growth in the last 5 years, filling the needs of businesses, manufacturing, and public schools and colleges alike. New needs for increased building securities, including “lock down” (threat level) procedures require door access control. We can help design the best solution for you, including IP camera  and site blueprint/floor plan integration.
